It's clear that not enough Americans are recycling their televisions. What's not so clear is how "green" the recycling process has become—unless it gets a new life in another country. In his biweekly trends column, PM's senior tech editor crunches the numbers on the real death of the boob tube.

Jim Herd at SF Citizen sent us this urgent message just now: "Ten mins ago. Lexus GS400 hit truck one block away. Driver went one block and then hit a Fulton 5. Driver ran into projects." Holy smokes. Anyone see what went down? We'll update as soon as we know more. UPDATE: NextBus shows a deactivated 5 Fulton parked at Webster/McAllister. All other buses seem to be operating as normal (which means big gaps, punctuated by close bunching). Check it out here.

Filming was completed in Birmingham, UK on the 8th of August of forth coming British horror film 'WebKam'. Written and directed by Ibraheem James Layton 'WebKam' has moved into post production is planned to be finished shortly before new years. You can check out a host of new images.
